WELCOME TO THE LEARNING CENTER
Welcome to my webpage and the 2012-2013 school year! My name is Beth Kalikstein and this is my eleventh year at Thoreau Elementary School. Working with fourth and fifth grade students is exciting for me because of their curiosity about the world and their love of learning! I always encourage my students to ask questions, take risks, and try their best.
In the Learning Center, I work with students on specific skills in the areas of reading, writing, and math. Using multi-sensory techniques, students learn while integrating information from their senses (sight, sound, touch).
