Kindergarten

The students will be learning many songs, playing simple percussion instruments and  moving to music this year.

November:
Color Song students are learning how to say the colors Red, Blue, Green and Yellow in Spanish.
Engine Engine #9 students are working on keeping the Steady Beat

December:  the students learned a Hanukkah song( Light the Candles), a Kwanzaa song ( Ifatayo) and two Christmas songs  Must be Santa vs. 1-4 and Jingle Bells. We also talked about the Nutcracker ballet and listened and moved to the "March of The Children" All the kindergarteners were taught the Raffi song " All I Really Need", which Mrs. Ellis' class recorded.
